The PC’s arrive at Jorus Teun’s Tavern accompanied by Valka Vialtia. Upon entering, Leila makes eye contact with a flirtatious young man. They are immediately approached by Jorus himself, who shows them to the corner for special guests. Here, they are given a menu detailing starter, main course, and dessert with accompanying suggestions for drinks. Jorus informs them that it is all paid in advance by Vela Vialtia.
For the starter, the PC’s picked
|GuUshal||Salmon Rubble||Dark Akoria Lager|
|Leila||Salmon Rubble & Red Spring Soup||Peppermint Wheat Beer|
During the starter, Valka inquires GuUshal as to why he eats out of the bowl instead of using the cutlery. GuUshal demonstrates by breaking one of the tiny forks. Valka comments that GuUshal is rather barbaric, and GuUshal returns with a remark about intolerance, with a grin. Leila quickly changes the subject by announcing a toast, and Valka follows up with “to barbarians and intolerant people”.
The main course was
|GuUshal||Soul Goat & Egg Fruit Omelet||Distilled Mid-Laranthian Red Wine (Jorus’ own produce)|
|Vashti||Pork Roast||Blue Coneberry Cider|
|Leila||Soul Goat||Blue Coneberry Cider|
After the main course, another round of drinks were ordered. Vashti and Leila wanted to try the Orange Coneberry Cider, and GuUshal wanted a refill on the strong wine. During the main course, Valka suddenly falls silent. Leila realizes that it might have something to do with her religion. Also, GuUshal gives a round of his green goo to the others. Vashti severely dislikes it, and Leila is reminded of the bitter, ill tasting medicine she was given as a child – but she keeps a straight face, as opposed to Vashti.
The dessert was
|GuUshal||Hot Chocolate Pudding||Eltazar Spring Ale|
|Leila||Fruit & Berry Delight||Cold Distilled Apple Wine|
|Vashti||Hot Chocolate Pudding||Eltazar Spring Ale|
As the desserts are ordered, Vashti lets on that she’s had the Hot Chocolate Pudding before, and that it is a delightful combination of the salty bacon flavour with the sweet fullness of the pudding, and freshness of the strawberrys. Valka ends her silence. Before they finish the dessert, they notice the sound of an agitated crowd moments before Jorus comes rushing in. He starts to warn them, but is interrupted by the crowd squeezing in, demanding that Leila sing for them.
Vashti, realizing that there are no apparent escape routes, jumps off the chair, and climbs the french walls and up to the stairs. Valka tries to explain the crowd that Leila is not the famous singer, but is pushed aside. GuUshal tries to intimidate the crowd, but is profoundly distracted by Vashti’s acrobatic move. The crowd grabs Leila by the arms, and she yells at them to make them let go. GuUshal is angered, and frightens the crowd to let go and back off. A bit of fuss ensues, but eventually the crowd disperses.
After the incident, they notice Jorus getting up from having been squeezed, nose bleeding. He apologizes sincerely, and offers them to stay in the luxury suite of the inn, which they accept. They quickly finish their desserts, though, before going up. Valka has fallen asleep in a drunken stupor, and GuUshal carries her up. GuUshal asks Jorus for a Soul Goat morsel to be brought up. Leila expresses worry for Jorus’ bleeding nose, but he shrugs it off.
At the room, Vashti hurries to the restroom, and GuUshal calls ShivvSha to him, and feeds the Soul Goat to it.
